Then I dont know what they said after that cos i wasnt there. I had a shite the next day, and left a floater... then i thourght (thinking hurts brain). The Floaters, what a classy name. i asked the new member (read the next bit of news) what he thourght- and he said "thats all good with me". Then I asked Jamie- and he laughed and said yer, he likes it. And finally I asked Matt and he said ok if everyone else likes it then yer. Its officail- Terminal CC are now known as the Floaters. NEW MEMBER!! Leigh Hodson is the latest member of The Floaters. He will be playing lead guitar and backing vocals. pretty cool.
In other news- we played at a party on saturday night (22nd of september). We played the worst we have ever played EVER!! We got through 3 songs (out of tune, out of time, and all the levels mixed up and wrong) then in the intro for the 4th song I snapped my low E string (which is kind of important, as any guitarist would know). So, we stopped. NADS!! but we all got drunk and eventually courght up with the rest of the crowd so it wasnt that bad. 'twas cool, so 'twas. So about that damn tape. I spoke to the mase sound people and they said there was no tape given to them at the last mase gig that we played. NADS! therefore, if you want a FLOATERS demo tape then you're just gonna have to wait till we play next time, and even then there will only be one master copy so it'll take a week or two to record 50 (or so) of them. Obviously, I aint gonna be getting 50 tapes for free so there's gonna have to be a price tag on it (sorry), unless you can provide your own tape- then I'll record it for free. But otherwise- I'll tell you the price later when I know how much it costs for blank tapes in the shops.

BUGGER!! the swallow fest on friday 17th in the swallow falls pub in betws-y-coed was a big bugger. We're sorry to Matt's friends (Lee, Craig and Phil I think) cos i hear you guys went down there and waited all day to see us... (why???) Anyway, the reason why we didnt play is cos there were only 3 bands allowed to play (according the manager) but apparently 7 bands turned up. We were one of the unlucky bands to be turned away. Its not really our fault though. We were just buggered by a bugger!!

We'll keep you up to date on when the next gig will be. THE FLOATERS will be joining forces with drunkMONKEY to make a split ep called "Oh no its...". It will include six songs, THE FLOATERS' songs will be "Vomit", "Booze" and "suspicious?". drunkMONKEY's songs will be "POPULARITY", "Sand in my shoe" and "no joke, just reality"
It will only be available on tape and is expected to be out at the shows within a year... hey, at least Im being honest!
