Band History

The music is what matters most...

but none of us can play very well.
BAND HISTORY

so this is the history of the band. well, it all started back in september 2000 (not that long ago really). It was a guy called Matt Fitton and me got together to make an emo-core band (like deftones etc). We got a drummer called Nick Barrowclough. After the first practise, it was a fast paced punk band. cool. However, Matt fitton left cos all his dedication (at that time) was in an emo-core band. bummer.

We got some songs together but quickly realised, damn we have to look for a bassist. Matt Barmwell played with us for a bit, but left cos of something (dont know what). Then we found Matt Pipkin (AKA Matt bass dude, cos he's called Matt, plays bass and is a dude). By then we had five songs- Blood Rush, closing speech, just know this, suspicious? and huh, you've got a gay cat.

We played two gigs before saying goodbye to Nick drummer boy. He said "I hate myself and I want to die", then admitted that he was in the band for the money and hates punk! see ya later then. After that, we found Jamie someplace and he can play drums. And finally, more recently (24th of sep. 2001 infact)- our latest member arrived Leigh Hodson. He plays lead guitar and backing vocals.

and thats it really, the current line up- Matt on bass, Jamie on drums and backing vocals, Leigh on lead guitar and backing vocals and Dave on guitar and lead vocals. The future holds loads of bars for us to bounce off. We're ready to gig anywhere and our biggest ambitions are going on tour for months on end in a shitty little van. That seriously would be the best thing.

our songs so far-
1.blood rush
2.suspicious?
3.huh, you've got a gay cat
4.out of the way
5.only desperate people go on blind date
6.vomit
7.Superman is a cripple
8.men sweat, women drip
9.Blue-ska night
10.shelter (I am free)
11.freedom shmeedom
12.just know this (the ROCK song)
13.closing speech
14.BOOZE

we really really wanna do a cd with all these songs on it, but instead, we'll probably just record a tape using a single microphone tape recorder at our next gig! sorted.
I guess, now we need to get good.
