news from may 2nd,
ok, so the floaters revenge split more than 2 months ago now. well, leigh and gaz carried on playing together and now Im (Dave) drumming for them. This is a completely new band. We're called the Cox! This is not an attempt to fuck jamie off, its just that we wanna play punk rock. Jamie's ok with it. he's doing really well with his solo gigs. He's in NME this week on the gig listings page! The Cox havent even had our first practise yet so things are all still very early. but i'll keep this page updated when we're ready to gig etc. I'll probably do a new website too.
news from febuary 21st
The Floaters have been flushed. due to loads of different reasons- the band have split. and its looking like theres not a hope in hell that anythings gonna happen from what we have left. leigh and gaz left becuase they werent having fun and both agreed that there's no point being in a band if its not fun, i agree. jamie will be going to university in september anyway. I'm gonna try and round up some people to do a band with but it wont be the floaters revenge. i'll keep this website up and i'll update it when things start taking shape again.
news from febuary 17th
ste ska has designed a new logo for us (above). its cool and we're gonna keep it as the official logo thing. i aint asked the others yet but im sure they dont give a shit whatever the logo is.

it was a good gig last night. all the other bands we really cool. leigh's voice let him down but it was near the end of the set so we got away with it. we got some encouraging comments afterwards. cheers to everyone who came, all the bands that played and D&B for letting us play. news from febuary 8th.
we've got some new stuff ready for our gig tomorrow. we're really looking forward to it as it'll be our first gig playing to the right kinda crowd with the right kinda bands at the right kinda place. as the famous saying goes... "skankin' n wankin', its all good!" news from january 25th.
Talks about recording a proper demo cd. As soon as we have enough money we'll be entering rockcliffe studios to record a 3 track demo cd.
Plus, Jamie (the drummer) will be performing an acoustic set at the breeding ground tomorrow. he'll be supporting kismet and dive. news from january 22nd,

our gig on friday night (11th) at the new inn in rhyl with fudged and dive was depressingly mediocre. Which is why we're going on a break of gigs for a bit. we're not gonna be playing another gig until we've had a practise and have leant some new songs. we have plenty of songs already written (Leigh has about 20 ish). i wrote a song aswell!! but the problem is we have nowhere to practise. it'll be ok though, and keep checking the site for updates. dont wory, we aint done yet.
oh and on a more possitive note- thanks to dive for organising friday night and asking us to support them. News from January 8th.
Our gig on january 18th has been changed (its this friday instead). The truth is i got confused, it didnt change its just that I only just realised it. So now, we're playing January 11th. Check out shows page for more info.
Our first demo is ready, we recorded our gig at mase (monday 7th of january 2002). It went well, but during the first song i coffed up a load of shit. check out the demo page for more info. News from January 4th.
